KMB and LWB’s Latest Measures to Safeguard the Health of Passengers and Staff Members
Given the emergence of first Wuhan coronavirus case in Hong Kong, as a further protective measure for staff members and passengers, KMB and LWB have set up five mask delivery points at the bus termini of the airport, the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Jordan (West Kowloon Station), Lok Ma Chau Station and Hung Hom Station. Passengers can ask staff members of KMB or LWB for a mask as required, while stocks last.
KMB and LWB have stepped up the cleaning of bus compartments and air-conditioning systems with bleach and antiseptic solution. We have also asked frontline colleagues to wear masks when working, and reminded passengers to maintain personal hygiene through the broadcast system on buses.
A total of 60 alcohol-based hand-rub dispensers have also been installed at interchanges and other bus termini for passengers and frontline staff members.
