KMB Launches Route 296D Special Departures to Detour to M+ Museum
As the M+ Museum is set to open soon, KMB will arrange special departures of Route 296D (Sheung Tak ⇌ Kowloon Station) within certain time periods on 23 October and 12 November for detouring to West Kowloon Cultural District. Two new bus stops “Museum Drive” and “Art Park” will be added onto the original route of Route 296D to facilitate the public to visit the Cultural District.

The full fare of Route 296D (special departure) will be HK$10, the same amount as the normal trips. Passengers getting on the bus from the Kowloon Union Church en-route bus stop or later are required to pay $6.8 (the sectional fare of Route 296D) only.
Interchange arrangement
Passengers can also take other KMB routes to Tseung Kwan O Tunnel Interchange or Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (KITEC) to interchange to Route 296D for M+ Museum.
