Road Closures and Bus Diversions for Hong Kong Marathon
To facilitate the holding of the Hong Kong Marathon on 11 and 12 February 2017 (coming Saturday night and Sunday), Stonecutters Bridge, Ting Kau Bridge, and the slip road between Lantau Link and Cheung Tsing Highway will be closed. Owing to the large scale road closures and resultant lengthened journey times, passengers are advised to plan their itinerary well in advance.
Rerouting Arrangement:
(A) Closure of Stonecutters Bridge (eastbound)

Diversion: |
On reaching Tsing Yi, the route will divert via North West Tsing Yi Interchange, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road, Tsing Tsuen Road, Texaco Road, Tsuen Kam Interchange, Cheung Pei Shan Road, Shing Mun Tunnels, Shing Mun Tunnel Road and Tai Po Road, and then resume its original routing. En-route stops bus will not be affected. |
(B) Closure of Ting Kau Bridge (southbound)

On reaching Ting Kau, the routes will divert via Tuen Mun Road, Tsuen Wan Road, Tsuen Tsing Interchange, Tsing Tsuen Road, Tsing Yi North Coastal Road and North West Tsing Yi Interchange, and then resume their original routing. En-route stops bus will not be affected. |
(C) Closure of the slip road between Lantau Link and Cheung Tsing Highway
