KMB and LWB introduce five new express routes to enhance overnight bus service
As our slogan “Heartbeat of the City” suggests, the Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. and Long Win Bus Company Ltd provide 24-hour bus services and operate more than 40 overnight bus routes in the 18 districts of Hong Kong. To further improve our overnight bus services and provide faster and more convenient trips for passengers travelling from Yau Tsim Mong to Tsing Yi, Sha Tin, Tseung Kwan O and Tai Po at night, KMB has recently introduced four new express routes. LWB has also introduced new Rt. NA47 to offer a better option for passengers travelling from Tai Po to the Airport.
- KMB new express route N41X to Tsing Yi
Rt. N41X travels from Hung Hom Station to Cheung Wang, via Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok, with a journey time from Mong Kok to Tsing Yi of approximately 20 minutes^.
The route will depart from Hung Hom Station at 12:45am and 1:10am daily. The full fare is $16.9.
- KMB new express route N287 to Sha Tin and Ma On Shan
Rt. N287 travels from Tsim Sha Tsui East (Mody Road) via Lion Rock Tunnel Road to City One Shatin, Vista Paradiso and Kam Ying Court, and terminates at Wu Kai Sha Station, with a journey time from Mong Kok to Shatin of approximately 25 minutes^. The full fare is $16.9 and the departure time from Mody Road is 12:55am, 1:25am and 1:55am daily.
- KMB new express route 293S to Tseung Kwan O
Rt. 293S departs from Mong Kok East Station at 1:15am and 1:45am daily, travelling via Kwun Tong By-pass to Po Tat, Po Lam, Hang Hau and and terminating at Hang Hau (Ngan O Road). The journey time from Mong Kok to Po Tat Estate is about 20 minutes^. The full fare is $16.6.
Rt. 293S provides also two return trips departing from Hang Hau (Ngan O Road) at 4:20am and 5am daily.
- KMB new express route 271S to Tai Po
Rt. 271S travels from Hung Hom Station via Lion Rock Tunnel and Tolo Highway to Kwong Fuk Road, Tai Po Central Bus Terminus and terminates at Fu Heng. The journey time from Mong Kok to Tai Po is approximately 30 minutes^. The full fare is $19.1.
- LWB night-time airport bus route Rt. NA47
Travelling from Tai Po (Fu Heng), via Tai Po Central Bus Terminal, Kwong Fuk Estate and direct to the Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) daily at 4:25am, Rt. NA47 arrives at the Airport at around 5:25am for passengers catching an early flight.
The route also introduces a new return trip from the Airport to Tai Po daily at 12:30am. The full fare is $42.5.
