LWB to extend the offer of 20% fare discount on “A” Routes for those Taking First Leg on “E” Routes
Long Win Bus Company Limited is pleased to announce an extension of the concession period for the same-day return fare concession scheme on “A” Routes for those taking the first leg on “E” Routes. Originally launched from 1 October 2017 to 31 December 2017, the scheme is now effective for three more months, from 1 January 2018 (Monday) to 31 March 2018 (Saturday), both dates inclusive. Octopus-paying passengers can enjoy a 20% fare discount on the same-day return trip on 13 “A” Routes if the first leg is made on any of the 11 “E” Routes, so long as the full fare for both journeys is paid with the same Octopus card.
Long Win Bus is hopeful that the extension of the scheme will enable more passengers to enjoy a comfortable and direct journey in the return trip of “A” Routes.
“A” Routes offer a more direct service, saving around 15-20 minutes when compared with the corresponding “E” Routes. The “A” Routes also provide a free Wi-Fi service and USB charging (subject to bus deployment). With the discount, passengers can save about $100 per month. The return-trip discount is not applicable to passengers who pay a section fare on either the “E” Route or the “A” Route. Please refer to Appendix A for the Terms and Conditions of the scheme.
The “E” Routes involved in the scheme are E31, E32, E32A, E33, E33P, E34A, E34B, E34P, E34X, E41 and E42, while the “A” Routes eligible for the discount are A31, A31P, A32, A33, A33P, A33X, A36, A37, A41, A41P, A43, A43P and A47X.
