Long Win Reorganise Routes E31 and E32A to Provide Whole-day Express Services for Tung Chung
To provide a more convenient bus service for the passengers in Tung Chung Town Centre, Tung Chung West and Tung Chung North, with effect from 2 February 2019 (Saturday), Long Win Bus (“LWB”) will convert Route E32A [Kwai Fong (South) ←→ Tung Chung Development Pier] into a whole-day service in both directions. At the same time, Route E31 [Tsuen Wan (Discovery Park) ←→ Tung Chung (Yat Tung Estate)] will be rerouted to omit Tung Chung North and travel via Mun Tung Estate.
Route E32A will go via Seaview Crescent, Caribbean Coast, Ying Tung Estate, The Visionary, Century Link, Tsuen Wan Station, Tsuen Wan Town Centre, Tai Wo Hau Station, Kwai Chung Road and Kwai Fong. The routing and bus stop locations remain unchanged. The estimated journey time from Fu Wah Street (opposite Tsuen Wan Station) to Century Link is approximately 25 minutes. (The actual journey time depends on the traffic conditions.)
After the amendment of routing for Route E31, it will go via Mun Tung Estate, Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal, Tung Chung Town Centre, Tsing Yi Road West, Cheung On Estate, Tsuen Wan Town Centre and Tsuen Wan Station. The estimated journey time from Cheung On Estate, Tsing Yi to Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal is approximately 20 minutes. (The actual journey time depends on the traffic conditions.)
The full fare of Routes E31 and E32A is $10.8. In addition, passengers can use the Bus-bus Interchange Scheme between Route E31/E32A and any other LWB “A” routes or “E” routes by interchanging at Lantau Link Toll Plaza to travel between Tung Chung West / Tung Chung North and the New Territories.
