KMB and LWB Subsidise Staff to Receive Measles Injection
KMB and LWB attach great importance to the health of their staff. In response to the growing number of measles cases in Hong Kong, KMB and LWB will subsidise staff who require it to receive a measles injection in order to protect the health of staff members. From now until 30 April, after receiving a measles injection at a clinic, staff members can collect a subsidy, which will be subject to a limit of HK$300.
KMB and LWB have also issued an internal notice to staff. Frontline operational staff members working at the airport can attend vaccination stations set up by the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) to receive a measles vaccination. We also reminded staff members to maintain personal hygiene and to take measures to prevent measles.
Extra masks, hand sanitisers and disinfectant wet-wipes have been delivered to staff members working at the airport and at the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and to follow the incident according to the CHP’s recommendations.
