LWB Adjusts Airport and Tung Chung Bus Route Services to tie in with Anti-epidemic Measures

To tie in with the Government’s recent enhanced anti-epidemic measures, with the approval from the Transport Department, the frequency of seven North Lantau External Routes (“E” Routes) will be adjusted, and the service of Route N42P [Sheung Shui Station → Airport (Ground Transportation Centre)] will be suspended temporarily with effect from 31 July (Friday) until further notice. Passengers of Route N42P can choose Route N42A [Fanling (Luen Wo Hui) ⇋ Tung Chung Station] as an alternative.

As per the Government’s anti-epidemic measures on boundary control points, the temporary service adjustment for LWB on twelve Airport Bus Routes (“A” Routes) and three Late Night Airport Bus Routes (“NA” Routes) was implemented earlier according to the Transport Department’s approved arrangement.

The details of the temporary service adjustments are summarised as follows:

 LWB will closely monitor bus operations and ridership, and adjust operations with a flexible strategy to meet changes in passenger demand.
