COVID-19 vaccine through the outreach vaccination service

The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited (“KMB”) and Long Win Bus Company Limited (“LWB”) have arranged the Government’s outreach vaccination service team to facilitate employees and their family members to receive the COVID-19 vaccine today (July 5). About 170 registered employees and their family members have taken the first dose of vaccination in the outreach vaccination station at the Kowloon Bay Depot throughout the day.

To facilitate employees on shift work to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, the outreach team administered the BioNTech vaccine to registered staff members and their family members. Their second dose of vaccine will be arranged three weeks later. KMB and LWB have also specially arranged designated clinics for the staff to receive the Sinovac vaccine.

Mr. Chan Fan, the Secretary for Transport and Housing, visited the Kowloon Bay Depot to look over the vaccine administration and meet with the vaccine-takers. KMB and LWB thanked the Secretary for visiting and expressed their gratitude to the outreach vaccination service team for their professional and efficient services.
