KMB donated a bus stop pole to Lok Sin Tong Wong Tai Sin Day Care Centre for the Elderly

The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (“KMB”) cares the needs of the elderly. On 6 August (Friday), we donated a bus stop pole to Lok Sin Tong Wong Tai Sin Day Care Centre for the Elderly. Taking nursing homes,  neighborhood elderly centres and daycare centres for the elderly as the bus stop name, KMB hopes that it can help create a pleasant living environment and provide appropriate training and treatment to the elderly people who suffer from dementia.

KMB has tailor-made a bus stop pole for Lok Sin Tong Wong Tai Sin Day Care Centre for the Elderly. Since the Center is located at Fu Shan Estate, KMB has chosen Route 3B, which passes through Fu Shan Estate. KMB has also made a special route information sheet. Besides “Lok Sin Tong Day Care Centre” as bus stop name, KMB has also added several centres of Lok Sin Tong on the route information sheet, as well as faretable and timetable.

The bus stop pole is located at the main entrance of the centre. A fixed partition is set at the rear, and a wooden chair is placed for the elderly. The setting can help the elderly relieve their nervousness and can allow some leisure talks when they are waiting for “the bus”. The staff members of the centre can chat with the elderly in a safe and relaxing environment for training and treatment.
