KMB Bus Captains, Terminus Supervisors, and Bus Stop Wardens will have a new look from 10 January 2022. Polo shirts with red and black as the leading colour will be adopted in the new design for bus captains. The uniforms for bus captain, providing a breathable and comfortable feeling, echo with an energetic and professional style of KMB staff. It also demonstrates KMB’s commitment to innovation and environmental protection. LWB also plans to change the new uniforms, which are awaiting approval from the Transport Department.

KMB has partnered with the local brand, Baleno, in designing the new uniforms. After collecting opinions from employees and other stakeholders, red and black, the trademark colours were selected. The new uniforms combine with the elements of comfort, eco-friendly, and safety. Polo shirts were made with quick-drying, breathable, and stretchable materials to keep dry and comfortable, which helped facilitate the flexibility of operations. The new uniforms are also made of durable materials and strictly comply with green procurement requirements. The silver-grey reflective strips are attached to ensure safety during work.

In addition to the red and black polo shirt, the winter uniform features a black fleece jacket and windbreaker, matched with dark grey pants. The new uniforms for Terminus Supervisors and Bus Stop Wardens, with sky blue and black colour, will also be gradually changed on the same day.
