Pak Shek Kok Cross-Harbour Express Route 900 extends service hours during weekdays and provides service on Saturdays Service enhancements on Tai Po and North District
From 13 December 2021 (Monday), KMB will enhance bus services of Pak Shek Kok, North District, and Tai Po, including:
1. Extended service hours of Cross-Harbour Express Route 900 [Pak Shek Kok ⇋ Wan Chai (HKCEC)] to Saturdays and strengths to half-day service;
2. Increased the number of special departures of North District Cross-Harbour Route 978B [Chi Fuk Circuit à Wan Chai North] to two;
3. Introduced new Route 279B [Luen Wo Hui à Kwai Hing Station];
4. Increased the number of special departures of Route 74F [Kwun Tong Ferry à Education University of Hong Kong] to three.
Cross-Harbour Express Route 900 extends service hours which provides an intelligent choice of Pak Shek Kok/Sha Tin
KMB Cross-Harbour Express Route 900 [Pak Shek Kok ⇋ Wan Chai (HKCEC)] takes about 30 mins* from Sha Tin to Sheung Wan via Western Harbour Tunnel. It has been popular among Sha Tin and Pak Shek Kok residents since its operations. Route 900 will extend the service hours and provide service on Saturdays, starting from 13 December (Monday) to reach the passengers’ needs.
To provide convenience to commuters enjoying point-to-point bus services across the harbour at different periods, KMB extends the service hours of Route 900 to 1:00 p.m. for Hong Kong Island-bound. At the same time, the service hours for Pak Shek Kok-bound will be extended to 10:10 p.m. to facilitate passengers returning to Sha Tin and Pak Shek Kok at night. Details are as follows:

Route 978B increases departure, which is more convenient from Ching Ho/Sheung Shui to Hong Kong Island
Besides, with effect from 13 December (Monday), the number of departures of Route 978B [Chi Fuk Circuit à Wan Chai North] will be increased to two during the morning peak hours. It provides a direct cross-harbour bus service from North District to Central, Sheung Wan, Admiralty, and Wan Chai. Details are as follows:

New Route 279B from North District to Kwai Fong/Kwai Hing
Starting from the same day, KMB will introduce a new Route 279B [Luen Wo Hui à Kwai Hing Station] during weekdays’ morning peak hours (except public holidays). It travels from Luen Wo Hui, Sheung Shui to Kwai Fong and Kwai Hing via Tai Lam Tunnel, and the estimated journey time from Sheung Shui to Kwai Fong is about 40 minutes. Passengers of Route 279B can transfer to other areas via Tai Lam Tunnel Bus Interchange on various KMB routes. Details are as follows:

With effect from 13 December (Monday), KMB will enhance Route 74F [Kwun Tong Ferry à Education University of Hong Kong] during weekdays’ morning peak hours by adding a new departure at 7:25 a.m. and advancing the first departure at 7:05 a.m. Details are as follows:
