KMB Special Route 68R to Tai Tong in Christmas A featured one-day hiking tour with scenery and gourmet food

Autumn colours are everywhere in Tai Tong, Yuen Long. To facilitate passengers going to Tai Tong, KMB will introduce a Special Route 68R [YOHO Mall (Yuen Long) ⇋ Tai Tong] during the Christmas holidays, which provides express bus service and offer a $1 interchange discount with 11 designated routes. Passengers of Route 68R can also walk to Reservoir Islands Viewpoint to enjoy the beautiful reservoir scenery. After having meals at So Kwan Wat Tsuen, passengers can take KMB Route 252 [So Kwan Wat ⇋ Tuen Mun Road Interchange] to enjoy a one-day hiking tour.

Route 68R with Interchange Discount

KMB Route 68R will provide service during 25-27 December 2021. Passengers going to and from designated areas using the same Octopus card can enjoy a $1 discount on the second leg when travelling on Route 68R and 11 designated routes.

A day trip to Sweet Gum Woods and Reservoir Islands   

If passengers do not want to go back to the starting point, they can start the trip from YOHO Mall by taking Route 68R and alight at Tai Tong, then walk for about 50 minutes to Reservoir Islands Viewpoint. After enjoying the lake view, passengers can have a break with food in the cuisine at So Kwun Wat Tsuen, take Route 252 at Avignon, and then interchange at the Tuen Mun Road Bus Interchange to travel to other districts.
