KMB and LWB celebrate Christmas with you
During the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, some mega-events will be held in Hong Kong. The public can easily enjoy a festive holiday by taking KMB and LWB buses. The events include “Hong Kong Mega Showcase” combining with gourmet foods and fun, large-scale outdoor carnival “Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo”, “Hong Kong WinterFest Christmas Town” with a 20-meter-high giant Christmas tree, and “Winter Wonderland 2021” providing European Christmas atmosphere. In addition, elderly can enjoy free rides on up to 81 Cross-Harbour Routes operated by KMB and all Recreational Routes (R Routes) through the “Rebate-after-ride” arrangement on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays in December.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays in December, elderly who hold the Elder Octopus card can enjoy free rides on Cross-Harbour Routes operated by KMB and all Recreational Routes through the “Rebate-after-ride” arrangement. By using the Elder Octopus card or relevant Octopus products to pay the fare, the elderly can get a $2 fare rebate after ten working days through the ways as below.
1. Using the same Elder Octopus card to pay the fare on all KMB and LWB buses;
2. A mobile device equipped with “Octopus” App；
3. Consume or top up at all 7-Eleven stories;
4. Octopus PC Reader;
5. Octopus Service Point at designated MTR stations and shopping malls, as given on the Octopus website.
