KMB extends Queen’s Hill Routes to Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus (Updated as at: 17-02-2022)

 o facilitate the opening of Queen’s Hill Public Transport Terminus, Routes 78A [Queen’s Hill - Fanling Station] (Circular) and 278A [Queen’s Hill ⇋ Tsuen Wan (Nina Tower)] will depart from Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus starting from 26 January (Wednesday). Route N78 [Sheung Shui ⇋ Sha Tau Kok] will also reroute via Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus starting from the first departure on 27 January (Thursday).

With effective from 26 January (Wednesday), Route 78A will depart from Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus and will observe Shan Lai Court Stop before resuming its journey to Fanling Station Interchange. For Queen’s Hill bound, Route 78A will also observe Shan Lai Court after stopping at Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus. Similarly, AM departures of Route 278A towards Tsuen Wan will depart from Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus, observe Shan Lai Court Stop before resuming its journey to Tsuen Wan. For PM departures to Queen’s Hill, Route 278A will also observe Shan Lai Court after stopping at Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus.

Furthermore, starting from the first departure on 27 January (Thursday), the stop near Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus on Lung Ma Road of Route N78 will be relocated inside Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus.

KMB provides fare concessions for passengers from Queen’s Hill. Discounts include a KMB Fare Saver located at Shan Lai Court Bus Stop, where passengers can enjoy a $1

fare discount when they ride on KMB buses by tapping an adult or student Octopus card on it, and supermarket e-vouchers for every KMB Monthly Pass purchased from now on to 28 February 2022 at Queen's Hill Bus Terminus with a maximum of $1,200 e-vouchers in total.

Take Route 78A to Lau Shui Heung to visit autumn foliage

Lau Shui Heung Reservoir, known as “Hong Kong Karuisawa”, is famous for its beautiful red leaves. Passengers hiking and visiting the autumn foliage at Lau Shui Heung Reservoir can take Route 78A, alight at Shan Lai Court bus stop and walk along Lung Ma Road (Po Kak Tsai Road bound), Lau Shui Heung Road and Hok Tau Road. Passengers can go to the KMB Fare Saver at Shan Lai Court before boarding to enjoy a $1 fare discount on the return journey.
