KMB to thank China Resources Power for donating anti-epidemic items
KMB received a donation of anti-epidemic items from China Resources Power today (25 February) for our frontline staff and passengers. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to China Resources Power’s support to our frontline employees and the general public. We believe the supplies will enhance the protection for staff and passengers with a safe working and travelling environment.
The donation from China Resources Power to KMB includes 1,000 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) kits and over 6,800 bottles of hand sanitiser. The RAT kits will be provided to our frontline staff, including bus captains, so that they can conduct self-test timely to protect themselves and the community. The hand sanitisers will be given to our customers; details will be soon announced. KMB would like to thank the generosity from the China Resources Power by donating the anti-epidemic supplies, which provides solid support to Hong Kong in fighting against the pandemic.
As one of the major public transport operators, KMB has always attached great importance to safeguarding our passengers and staff. We have been carrying out disinfection work in our bus compartments, bus stops, and staff facilities through a multipronged approach. Amid the pandemic, KMB will continue to stand fast on our posts to provide bus service to the public. We will stay united in combating the epidemic.
Wing Yim, KMB’s Head of Staff Relations & Welfare Services Department (centre), said, “We are grateful to have the support of our corporate partners to provide RAT kits for frontline staff and prepare hand sanitisers for passengers. I believe this will help fight the pandemic.” |
