New generation electric bus to pay a visit to Siu Hong Court Routes deployed covering all districts in Kowloon

The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (“KMB”) is arranging its new-generation single-deck electric bus to pay a visit to Siu Hong Court, Tuen Mun this Thursday (23 June), introducing features of the new electric single-decker and KMB’s timetable and roadmap for the development of new energy buses.

The electric single-decker will be at Tuen Mun (Siu Hong Court) Bus Terminus from 16:00 to 20:00hrs on 23 June. Passengers can board the bus and experience a zero-emission, quiet and comfortable ride brought by electric buses. Souvenirs and leaflets with specifications of the new-generation electric bus will also be gifted to visitors to let them have a better understanding of its features as well as KMB’s timetable and roadmap for the development of new energy buses.

After putting into service for nearly two months, all 16 of the new-generation single-deck electric buses have already been licensed and are operating smoothly. These single-deckers are currently deployed on six routes, serving all districts in Kowloon and busy corridors such as Nathan Road, Prince Edward Road and Kwun Tong Road to provide clean and quiet bus service in urban areas. KMB is also discussing with the Transport Department to deploy the new electric buses on more routes so that the public could enjoy a more eco-friendly commuting choice.
