Free rides on Route 1 offered by Sinovac on HKSAR Establishment Day
The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (“KMB”) announces a free ride activity will be launched on 1 July (Friday), the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, sponsored by Sinovac Biotech (Hong Kong) Limited. Passengers can enjoy unlimited free rides on KMB Route 1 [Chuk Yuen Estate ⇌ Star Ferry] on that day.
Passengers are not required to pay any fare when boarding Route 1 from the first to the last departure on 1 July.
Route 1 passes through the heart of Kowloon, including Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok and Kowloon City. Other than shopping in Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok along Nathan Road, passengers can also visit old districts in Kowloon City and explore the history of Kowloon Walled City. Don’t forget to “taste around the world” in the inner streets of Kowloon City.

With loads of international delicacies gathered in Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok and Kowloon City, take Route 1, and you can go on a “world tour” to taste signatures of different places, including the Taiwanese egg pancake roll, Indonesian Thali, Korean kimbap and fish cake. There are also countless popular cafés that are worth paying a visit. |

Passengers are encouraged to tap their Octopus cards or products on the Octopus card validator when boarding, as suggested by the Government. The amount deducted for such Octopus transactions will be set at $0 on that day.
