KMB E-payment System and AlipayHK co-launch a Concession Bus Fare Scheme Scan with a QR code to get a $2 rebate for KMB rides

The registration period for the Consumption Voucher Scheme (Phase II) has commenced. KMB and AlipayHK announced to launch of the “Quick Reward Code” Reward. From now on, passengers can redeem two $1 coupons after scanning the QR code on relevant promotional materials displayed on 800 KMB bus poles. A $1 bus fare will be deducted automatically for each trip when AlipayHK users pay with “EasyGo” on KMB routes.

The above preferential quota is 50,000 per month for six months. Users can redeem the coupons once each calendar month throughout the promotion period. The rewards are offered by AlipayHK with terms and conditions applied.

The e-payment system has been already available on the entire KMB bus fleet and supports AlipayHK EasyGo. Finance Director of KMB, Joseph Leung, said, “It is hoped that passengers can integrate the electronic consumption patterns in travel through AlipayHK’s one-stop payment solution. As electronic payment has become an irreversible trend, KMB is delighted to cooperate with AlipayHK again. We will continue to bring more creative and practical offers to passengers enjoying a high-quality travel experience.”
