KMB provides extra privileges on concession bus fare schemes (Updated)
The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (“KMB”) announced that from 1 July 2022, it will extend various concession bus fare schemes and provide extra privileges, including earning ten points for each bus trip of club1933 members aged 60 or above, and earning an extra five points of club1933 members with adult and student Octopus cards when taking the KMB cross-harbour routes. Also, the interchange discount schemes with Hong Kong Tramways Limited (“HKT”) and AMS Public Transport Holdings Limited (“AMS”) will be extended for one year.
Offer 1: club1933 bonus points
Passengers who enjoy the “$2 Fare Concession Scheme”, i.e. holders of JoyYou cards, aged 65 and above paying with Elder Octopus or Personalised Octopus cards, or eligible persons with disabilities, can register as members of club1933. From 1 July to 30 September, using registered Octopus cards to take any bus routes operated by KMB or LWB*, can earn ten points of club1933 for each bus trip, which are redeemable on exclusive privileges.
From July to September, the Adult and “Student status” Octopus card holders using a registered Octopus card to take KMB’s cross-harbour routes can earn an extra five points.
As a member of club1933, you can earn points for every bus trip and redeem member-exclusive privileges, including KMB masks, COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test Kits, bus models, dining discounts, and online shopping discounts. New members of club1933 are entitled to receive a welcoming gift of 200 points. The more you ride, the more rewards you will get.
*Not applicable to LWB Airport A Routes, KMB Routes P960, P968, K12, K14, K17, K18 and Racecourse Routes.

Offer 2: Extension of KMB-Tram Interchange Discount Scheme for one year
Adult or Child Octopus card users transferring from 34 designated KMB sole-operated cross-harbour routes to tram lines, and vice versa, may save the fare of a single tram journey. The above scheme is extended to 30 June 2023.
Offer 3: Extension of KMB-AMS Interchange Discount Scheme for one year
Octopus card users in Adult and ”Student status” can enjoy a $1 discount on their second leg when interchanging from 34 designated KMB solely-operated cross-harbour routes to 47 designated AMS Hong Kong Island Green Minibus routes, and vice versa. The above scheme is extended to 30 June 2023.
