LWB granted 10 years of new franchise LWB bus routes will be included in the KMB Monthly Pass

Long Win Bus Company Limited (“LWB”) is pleased to announce that LWB has been granted a new 10-year franchise by the HKSAR Government, starting from May 1, 2023. LWB will continue to provide safe, sustainable, reliable and value-for-money bus services to passengers. In the new term, the KMB Monthly Pass will cover all LWB bus routes, offering free or discounted bus fares.

The new franchise which covers the next 10 years will run from May 1, 2023. In face of the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in continuous and remained in low passenger demand and uncertain economic prospects in the past two and a half years, LWB is keeping faith with Hong Kong’s future and will endeavour to provide quality bus services.

During the new term, LWB, in the collaboration with The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (“KMB”) will introduce a new fare concession scheme that covers all 53 routes in the KMB Monthly Pass. Pass holders shall be entitled to take ten rides daily for free, including:

·         16 External Routes (E31, E32, E32A, E33, E33P, E36, E36A, E36P, E36S, E37, E37C, E41, E42, E42C, E42P and E43);

·         6 Overnight/ Late Night Special Routes (N31, N30, N42, N42A, N42P and N64);

·         3 Recreational Routes (R8, R33 and R42); and

·         6 Shuttle Routes (S1, S64, S64C, S64P, S64X and S65).

 The KMB Monthly Pass holders can enjoy 73% off on the selected routes below:

·         13 Airport/ HKP Routes (A31, A32, A33, A33X, A34, A36, A37, A38, A41, A41P, A43, A43P and A47X) and

·         9 Overnight Airport/ HKP Routes (NA31, NA32, NA33, NA36, NA37, NA40, NA41, NA43 and NA37)

 KMB Monthly Pass, with 30-day validity, is applicable to over 450 KMB and LWB routes. Passengers who take the above LWB rides will be counted in the ten rides offered by the Pass every day.
