Third time to enhance KMB’s bus service in Queen’s Hill Service hours extension of Route 278A to connect Queen’s Hill and the urban area every day

From 25 July (Monday), KMB further enhances the service of Route 278A [Queen’s Hill Tsuen Wan (Nina Tower)], including extending the service hours on weekdays and introducing new departures on weekends. Passengers can interchange to other KMB routes at Fanling Highway Interchange and enjoy interchange discounts, making it more convenient and cost-effective to travel to and from the urban area.

Queen’s Hill Route 278A extends weekday service and adds weekend and holiday departures

As more residents are moving into Queen’s Hill Estate, it is the third time that KMB has enhanced its bus service in the area within the past two months. From 25 July, Route 278A will extend its service hours on weekdays and adds services on weekends and public holidays. In other words, Route 278A will provide daily service, bringing residents a more convenient travel option. KMB will closely monitor the passenger demand, allocate resources and offer preferential plans to prioritise serving Queen’s Hill residents. Details of the latest service of Route 278A are as follows:

Connect to Fanling Highway Interchange and Shing Mun Tunnels Bus Interchange for more accessible travel 

Route 278A travels via Fanling Highway Interchange, where passengers can interchange with other KMB routes to Yau Tsim Mong, East Kowloon, and Hong Kong Island. They could enjoy a free transfer or top-up discount when interchanging to different routes, saving up to $13.7. Route 278A also passes through Shing Mun Tunnels Bus Interchange, where passengers can transfer to other KMB routes to Mei Foo, Kwai Chung, and Tsing Yi.

Fare concessions for passengers from Queen’s Hill

KMB provides fare concessions for passengers from Queen’s Hill, including a KMB Fare Saver located at Shan Lai Court Bus Stop. Passengers can enjoy a $1 fare discount when they ride on KMB buses by tapping an adult or student Octopus card on it.
