KMB will hold Open Day at Kowloon Mosque and all members of the public are welcome
The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (“KMB”) will organise an Open Day at the Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre on 20 August (tomorrow) from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All members of the public are welcome. There will be an employment seminar, providing job information for Bus Captains, Skilled Assistants, and Bus Stop Wardens. Those who are interested in joining KMB can have an on-site interview opportunity. KMB hopes to communicate more directly with the public through the event and build a diverse and inclusive community for Hong Kong.
The KMB Open Day will be held for the first time at the Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre. KMB will introduce its operations and service, achievements in environmental protection and social caring through videos and foam boards. In the employment seminar, some non-Chinese Bus Captains will be invited to share their interview skills and working experience in KMB with the people at the scene. KMB will also arrange on-site interviews for those who would like to apply for the vacancies. For example, if they apply for Bus Captains, the applicants can proceed to a driving test in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Admission is free. Applicants must wear long trousers or long skirts and sleeved tops and take off their shoes when entering the Mosque.
