KMB’s all-new Route 78B commences on Monday providing express service from Queen’s Hill to Sheung Shui during morning peaks

From 5 September 2022 (Monday), KMB will introduce a new Route 78B [Queen’s Hill à Choi Yuen], which will depart at 7:00 a.m. and 7:25 a.m. from Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays). The full fare is $6.2, allowing Queen’s Hill and Shan Lai Court residents to enjoy express services to Fanling and Sheung Shui.

Route 78B will depart from Queen’s Hill Bus Terminus and travel along Lung Ma Road and Sha Tau Kok Road Lung Yeuk Tau towards Fanling. It will travel through Tong Hang, Flora Plaza, Yan Shing Court, Ching Ho Estate, North District Hospital, and Sheung Shui Station, benefiting Fanling (South) and Sheung Shui (South) students by providing a new choice in the morning peaks.

Since the residents started moving into Shan Lai Court and Queen’s Hill Estate last year, KMB has been allocating resources, including increased frequency during peak hours and deployed high-capacity bus models to Route 78A [Queen’s Hill – Fanling Station] (Circular). KMB will closely monitor passengers’ demand, and communicate with the Transport Department to enhance the services in Queen’s Hill.
