The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd. (“KMB”) is renovating its bus-bus interchanges by stages. Following the completion of renovation work of interchanges in Wah Ming and Po Tin, those in Sheung Shui and Wong Tai Sin have also completed recently. There are clearer signs and platform numbers provided in the interchanges so that passengers can find their way to the interchanging platform easily. Route information is also available in both interchanges and mobile application, App1933. KMB Routes observing Sheung Shui Interchange and Wong Tai Sin Interchange cover a number of main districts across Hong Kong, providing a more valued and convenient choices to passengers for a flexible journey.
Sheung Shui Interchange: Connecting the North and the South
Formed by bus stops near Sheung Shui Station and Sheung Shui Bus Terminus, Sheung Shui Interchange is observed by various intra-North District feeder routes and rural routes. It is another major transport hub in North District. KMB has renumbered the platform numbers of the bus stops in the Interchange to help passengers locate the bus stops of each routes – platforms in Sheung Shui Bus Terminus are numbered as A1 to A4, platforms in Sheung Shui Station Bus Stop along San Wan Road are numbered as B1 to B6, platforms in Sheung Shui Station Bus Stop along Choi Yuen Road are numbered as C and D. There are route maps in the Interchange showing areas served by the route network of Sheung Shui Interchange as well as connecting bus interchanges.

Passengers in North District can enjoy a maximum interchange discount of $8 by taking feeder or rural routes and interchange to other designated KMB routes or vice versa. For example, passengers travelling from Ching Ho Estate to Tuen Mun may first take Route 70K [Fanling (Wah Ming) – Sheung Shui (Ching Ho) (Circular)] or Route 273B [Sheung Shui (Ching Ho) – Sheung Shui Station (Circular)] to Platform B6 or B2 in Sheung Shui Interchange, and walk to Platform B3 in the same bus stop for Route 261 [Fanling (Cheung Wah) ⇋ Tuen Mun (Sam Shing)] to Tuen Mun.
Wong Tai Sin Interchange: Connecting the East and the West
Located in Lung Cheung Road that connects the East and the West of Hong Kong, Wong Tai Sin Interchange facilitates passengers from Tsz Wan Shan, Tsui Chuk Garden, Anderson Development Area and Kowloon Bay Business Area to transfer to other routes for the New Territories. Platform numbers are also available in bus stops of the Interchange – A1-A2 for Shatin Pass Road Bus Stop on Lung Cheung Road (Choi Hung bound); B1-B6 for Wong Tai Sin Station Bus Stop; C1-C3 and D1-D3 for Shatin Pass Road Bus Stop on Lung Cheung Road (the New Territories bound).

Passengers of designated interchanging route combinations may enjoy a maximum $5 interchange discount. For example, passengers from Tsz Wan Shan to Tsuen Wan may first take Route 2F [Tsz Wan Shan (North) ⇋ Cheung Sha Wan] or Route 3C [Tsz Wan Shan (North) ⇋ China Ferry Terminal] to Platform A2 of Wong Tai Sin Interchange and transfer to Route 33 [Yau Tong ⇋ Tsuen Wan West Station], Route 33B [Yau Tong ⇋ Tsuen Wan West Station], Route 290 [Tseung Kwan O (Choi Ming) ⇋ Tsuen Wan West Station], Route 290A [Tseung Kwan O (Choi Ming) ⇋ Tsuen Wan West Station] or Route 290X [Lohas Park Station ⇋ Tsuen Wan West Station] for Tsuen Wan.
Route information of Sheung Shui and Wong Tai Sin Interchanges is also available now on the mobile app, App1933. Together with the Nearby Bus Routes function, passengers can also check the estimated arrival time of the interchangeable routes at the interchange, offering a more convenient way when planning their trips.
More bus-bus interchanges will also be renovated gradually by adding clear signages to allow passengers to find their way to the interchanging routes easily and travel to their destinations. KMB is also setting up more interchanges in various districts to encourage passengers to utilise our extensive bus network and offer more valued and convenient options for a more flexible travel plan.
