KMB e-payment system accepts BoC Pay
From 27 November 2022 (Sunday), KMB and LWB e-payment systems will newly accept BoC Pay "transit code" and the number of electronic payment methods supported by the system will increase to eleven, allowing passengers to enjoy a cashless payment community. During the promotion period between 27 November and 31 December, BoC Pay customers can enjoy a $3 fare discount when they use the "transit code" to take any KMB and LWB buses with $10 or above per trip.
E-payment system, which accepts the most electronic payment methods among public transport operators, supports eleven electronic payment methods
The e-payment system will newly accept BoC Pay "transit code" QR code from 27 November. BoC Pay customers can pay the fare directly by scanning the transit code through the camera at the top of the fare validator without entering passwords.

Together with the newly joined BoC Pay, the system will support eleven electronic payment methods, and it will become accepting the most electronic payment methods among public transport operators. It is expected to provide more choices to allow passengers to integrate into the electronic consumption mode when travelling. As electronic payment has become a major trend, we believe our e-payment system will help promote the cross-border payment connection with the Mainland. KMB and LWB e-payment systems accept eleven electronic payment methods as below:

*Passengers need to select the location to Hong Kong in the app.
KMB and LWB bus-bus interchange concessions and Regional Two-way Sectional Fare Schemes are applicable to the e-payment systems. One-stop fare readers have been installed on designated bus stops. Passengers pay the full fare by tapping their contactless credit cards or using their mobile devices when boarding the bus to enjoy the discount. After alighting from the bus, tapping the same contactless credit card or mobile device, or scanning the QR code on the one-stop fare reader, part of the fare will be automatically returned.

A $3 fare discount and earn “Gift Points”
During the promotion period between 27 November and 31 December, BoC Pay customers can enjoy a $3 fare discount1 when they use the "transit code" to take any KMB and LWB buses with $10 or above per trip. Meanwhile, they can earn five times of Gift Points2 to offset the spending at BoC Pay merchants3.
Remarks:
1. Each customer can enjoy a fare discount up to 20 times during the event period.
2. Each customer can enjoy a maximum of 5,000 extra bonus points during the event period.
