LWB, your first choice for travel and leisure during Christmas and New Year Holidays
Following the Government’s announcement on easing pandemic restrictions on arrivals, Long Win Bus Co. Ltd. (“LWB”) expects that there will be an increase in the number of citizens and visitors to both inbound and outbound travel via the airport during Christmas and New Year Holidays. LWB is prepared to enhance its services in accordance to passenger demand and join the society in resuming normalcy. Furthermore, Route R33 [Tuen Mun Station ⇋ Disneyland] will provide additional departures at weekends and public holidays during Christmas and New Year to facilitate passengers going to Hong Kong Disneyland or Inspiration Lake.
LWB ready to enhance its services subject to passenger demand during Christmas and New Year holidays
The Government has announced lifting the “Amber Code” arrangement under the “Vaccine Pass”. LWB expects this will favour the public to travel abroad during Christmas and New Year holidays and also attract tourists visiting Hong Kong, increasing the number of passengers travelling to and from the airport. LWB will closely monitor the passenger demand, communicate with the Transport Department, and strengthen the airport bus services when necessary so that passengers in Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, North District, Tai Po, Sha Tin, Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing districts can enjoy a direct journey to the airport.
LWB has been providing a valued and convenient service to passengers travelling to and from the airport. After boarding the bus and placing the luggage on the rack, passengers can sit back, relax and enjoy the view en-route direct to the airport via Lantau Link or Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Tunnel. KMB Monthly Pass holders can also enjoy free LWB rides until 31 December this year. They could pay the fare first by using an Octopus card loaded with a valid KMB Monthly Pass when boarding LWB bus routes, then collect the full fare rebate through Octopus App or Octopus Service Points within ten working days to 30 days. The relevant trips will not be counted in the ten daily trips under the KMB Monthly Pass scheme. There is also a maximum $6 concession for passengers interchanging between LWB Airport “A” routes and other KMB routes (except Routes K12, K14, K17 and K18, Racecourse Routes and Recreational Routes).
