KMB 38 routes with special service arrangements during Lunar New Year
Given the arrival of the Lunar New Year, KMB will have 38 routes with special service arrangements starting from Lunar New Year's Eve (21 January), including service hours adjustments and frequency enhancement to facilitate family and friends gatherings more conveniently. Route 63R travelling to Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree will be operated between 22 January and 5 February, allowing the public to make a wish in the New Year. KMB also invites passengers to visit Tai Po Lam Tsuen, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tuen Mun, Kwun Tong, and Sai Kung to collect postcards and stamps for Lunar New Year celebrations.

Route 63R will travel between Tai Po Market Station and Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree from the first day to the fifteenth day in the Lunar New Year
Many Hong Kong people and tourists will go to Tai Po Lam Tsuen to write their wishes on wishing placards and throw them together with tangerines onto the Wishing Tree to make wishes during Lunar New Year. KMB will operate Route 63R for 15 consecutive days, providing services for the public to and from Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree and Tai Po Market Station. A "$1 Fare Concession Scheme" will also be launched at the same time. Passengers using the same Adult Octopus card or e-payment methods to take KMB Routes 72X, 73X, 74D, 74X, 75X, or 271, and then interchange to Route 63R at the designated bus stops, or vice versa can enjoy a $1 discount on the second leg.

"Recollecting your memories in Hong Kong" with KMB during Lunar New Year
KMB celebrates the festive time with the public. Passengers may visit Tai Po Lam Tsuen, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tuen Mun, Kwun Tong, and Sai Kung to get KMB's "Recollecting your memories in Hong Kong" postcards and stamps between 22 January and 5 February. There are nine stamps on the front side of the postcards and the back side with classic bus stamps. They can then write down the message on the card and mail it to the intended recipient, sharing the New Year's blessings with them. Postcards are available while stock lasts.
